Louis XVI style sideboard, late 18th century

A late 18th-century solid mahogany sideboard. The front opens with four doors and three drawers. The uprights are fluted at the front and back. Bronze escutcheons with rows of pearls. A key for each door and drawer. The original white marble top, likely Carrara, is of considerable thickness with a molded edge that perfectly follows the contour of the piece. Tapered, fluted legs ending in sabots. Waxed finish.

Note that there are restorations typical of the piece of furniture, and the back of the piece was completely redone, probably in the 20th century.
